An existing customer who we have carried out various projects for over the years moved to a Grade 2 listed thatched cottage set within a local conservation area. After discussing their ideas, we put them in touch with a local Architect, they produced all the required Heritage Statement along with all the necessary drawings, planning application, Engineers calculations and Building Control requirements. The build was in common bricks to receive a paint finish to match existing. New drains would be required back to the road along with new mains water supply. The roof was finished with Acadia pan tiles, and a vaulted ceiling. The landscaping was carried out using York stone, a new driveway laid and finished with a decorative stone. New automated gates installed, manufactured from European Oak.
